It’s been quite a year and there’s still a few months to go! From an engagement session at Walt Disney World, to getting a styled shoot published in Love Wins Texas Weddings Magazine, I’ve had an unbelievable time working with and getting to know some wonderful LGBT couples. I’m so proud to share that for the second year in a row, Degrees North Images has been chosen as a finalist for OutSmart Magazine’s Gayest and Greatest Reader’s Choice Awards. Last week the Houston ballot results were unveiled (Galveston’s awards will be chosen in the new year) and it’s just so special to see my business listed as a finalist once again!

With marriage equality only being a little more than a year old, many Houston LGBT couples are still experiencing challenges booking photographers and other vendors for their engagement and wedding celebrations. I take great pride being listed among businesses that are supportive and inclusive of a great variety of clients. As we move into 2017 I look forward to connecting with even more talented businesses that I can recommend to my LGBT clients and friends!
