2015 was such an amazing year for Degrees North Images. It was a year of huge growth, photographic discovery and so much more. As I maneuver my business into the niches that really inspire me and allow me to have wonderful, authentic relationships with my clients I grow by leaps and bounds. 2015 was full of new experiences, challenges and friends and it all unfolded into a year I could never have anticipated!

A few short weeks ago, I got an email from the publishing platform Two Bright Lights, that we had been selected as an Editors’ Choice Award winner for the second year in a row…and it’s entirely possible that I did a backflip! As I go through the year and see my work get featured and shared online I sometimes forget how often it’s happening. It’s very easy to get caught up in the day to day business of…well…running a business and a household that I forget our clients stories were shared by our lovely community of creatives so that other couples and families could be inspired!

I’m so grateful to my DNI couples and families for allowing me to do the thing that I “can’t not do” and for sharing their joy and spirit of adventure with me! I’m also ever so thankful to my fellow wedding vendors that helped make 2015 such an impactful year for me and to my husband who is constantly challenging me behind the scenes! Here’s to an awesome 2016!
