Ashley and Ty were the winners of our very first engagement session giveaway! When I met with them to plan out their session I was so excited to find out they are fellow Disney fanatics! Ty proposed to Ashley at Disneyland last year with none other than Alice and the Mad Hatter as witnesses! In planning out their session they said they definitely wanted to incorporate Disney themes, particularly Up. They also had some props they wanted to use that incorporated Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland. We pretty much had to do something to salute Alice in Wonderland after that epic proposal right?!!

We decided on Brazos Bend State Park as the session location. Ashley liked some of the bridals I had done there and she wanted to “climb in the trees” for a few of the photos. I had just the plan for that very idea which included paying homage to the movie Tangled! With all of our fun props and our amazing setting, we were able to incorporate elements from Cinderella, Snow White, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast and Up. I love how we were able to weave a little story from one Disney movie to the next throughout this amazing wooded location!
