WEDDINGS

WOW! Can you believe it’s already March? I feel like time is really getting away from me. All of our winter wedding couples have their wedding treasures in hand and we’re currently working on our last honeymoon session…which means…we’ll be back to blogging like crazy in no time!

In the meantime, we had some really great surprises come our way in January and February! The first and probably most exciting was being contacted by Walt Disney Pictures about using a tweet we posted reviewing the wonderful and amazing movie Saving Mr. Banks. Can I tell you how I almost died of happiness right then and there! Seriously, they have over a million followers and people were tweeting up a storm about how great and inspiring that movie was and somehow they not only found my tweet, but thought it was so great they had to use it. Did you guys know I’m a WDW College Program Alumni and former Cast Member? So you know what an extra big deal it was for me to see my tweet go out to the Disney masses!!! We were featured on January 24th, so go check it out and don’t forget to follow us for fun updates!

The next big piece of news came just a few days later when I got an email from Onewed that one of our images was being featured on their homepage! JOY!!! Onewed is a great online resource for wedding planning. I recommend you check it out! You can visit our storefront too!

As if that wasn’t enough, we just found out that one of our detail shots was featured in Marie Selby Botanical Garden’s Wedding Brochure! Swoon/faint/joy!!! I can’t take credit for the image, as it was my second shooter Christine that snagged it. I was contacted literally the day after the wedding to get a few detail shots over for possible publication that same week. I hadn’t even traveled back to Texas yet so when I did arrive home I sent off 8 photos hoping to make the cutoff so we could help them fill in some gaps in their brochure. I’m so excited that future brides will see the beautiful work from wedding planner Kim Frazer. Her and her team are literally wedding planning and design rock stars and we were so excited and lucky to be able to watch her in action. She is a five star planner!!!

Last, but certainly not least…we totally got featured on Bummed Bride!!! We did a super mini photo shoot of a Bride and her Maid of Honor before the girls headed off to the wedding venue and Bummed Bride thought their fans needed to see it! These girls are not only Best Cousins, they’re also Best Friends and I think we easily captured that. Again, thanks to my second shooter Christine for helping capture all the love!
