Ah! Oh my gosh this is so crazy. Today we have a proposal featured on How They Asked (formerly How He Asked)!

I never in a million years thought I would get to photograph a proposal. That probably sounds silly given the current popularity of proposal photography. I guess I just never thought the situation would arise…it was the farthest thing from my mind. But I was so wrong! And not only did I get to photograph a proposal, I got to photograph my friend’s proposal!

Chesni and I have know each other for about 5 years now. We actually went to college together and often second shoot weddings for each other. We are also both really in to yoga, and the beach, and we are both cafe junkies.

Well, one day I got an email from her boyfriend Travis about planning a surprise proposal for her and I was over the moon with excitement. We did some cahooting and came up with the coolest surprise proposal that took place in one of her favorite spots, with one of her favorite themes and it was AWESOME!
