You might remember a few weeks ago we shared a destination inspired wedding shoot from Chateau Polonez. Well, today it is was featured on GayWeddings.com!
All the details from this shoot were modeled after European celebrations where family, food and libations determine every aspect. Formal enough to make a statement, yet casual enough to invite warmth and joy with nary a spot of stress in sight. We were channeling a French country/Under the Tuscan Sun vibe with unstructured wild feeling florals, simple white dishes and antique utensils, and a steady flow of nibbles, wine and kisses.
If you guys aren’t familiar with GayWeddings.com, it is actually a site by Wedding Wire which is one of the top wedding resource websites in the world. While Gay Weddings is a site built around the LGBTQ community, it’s still a great resource for all couples. If you don’t consider yourselves a super traditional couple, or you want to see unique themes and locations and even new wedding traditions, this is a great place to browse. LGBTQ couples are often not beholden to the decades and centuries of wedding design that straight couples are, so they are truly blazing new trails in what it means to mark and celebrate the first day of marriage.
