Well this year’s St. Patty’s Day was really something to celebrate. I was invited by my friend and fellow photographer Christine Gosch to second shoot at a super cool wedding with all kinds of personality! The ceremony was conducted at the family’s long time church in Friendswood, Texas while the reception was hosted at Haak Winery a few minutes down the road in Santa Fe.
Kayla and Hunter really did their wedding right. It was full of simple touches that reflected their personalities and relationship perfectly…right down to the groom’s well “loved” converse shoes. The brides bouquet was handmade of faux flowers and sparkling brooches and the groom’s best man sang for the couple at their ceremony, while another groomsmen sang their first dance song. All the guests embraced the St. Patty’s Day fun and many wore festive hats to celebrate. They even had a bagpiper! Does it get any cooler than that?!!!
Here are just a few highlights. To see more of Kayla and Hunter’s wedding (and engagement session) visit Christine’s blog.
