Crystal and Chris have been married for a little over two years now! I can’t believe it has been that long! I was invited to be the second camera at their wedding by my sweet friend and fellow photographer Christine Gosch. Since wedding season is coming fast and these two are in their marriage month, I thought I would dig into my archives and share some of my favorite moments from their marriage day in blog format (you may have seen some photos on social media, and you can see Crystal’s Bridal Session here).

The weather here in southeast Texas in March can get a little shifty. Luckily, we didn’t have any rain, but there were some pretty chilly gusts of wind to contend with. The event was held on a lovely property in Angleton, TX.

This was a casual, spring DIY wedding. Crystal somehow brought the simplest of elements together in a way that created a big impact while still maintaining a light and natural ambiance. White table linens and cafe lights strung from the trees made a casual and relaxed environment for guests to view the ceremony and devour the delicious BBQ dinner! Hints of light pink in the flowers and bridesmaid dresses added some romance to the color palette and looked so very sweet against the perfectly green trees. The best DIY of the day, though, was the wedding rings, which Chris handcrafted himself!

After several You Tube videos, they finally got that bowtie tied and under control!Jumping high five shots are my favorite!
