Chesni and I share a multitude of loves, but the most notable are photography, yoga, and the beach. We are also both cafe junkies, but that is for another post. Chesni and I met several years ago at the start of my photography journey. Over the years we have managed to stay in touch and meet up from time to time to talk shop and life. We also help each other with event photography whenever the other needs a second shooter. I trust her with my camera and that’s kind of a bid deal!

This session came about when we were both jonesing for some salty air and sunshine. She needed photos for her photography ventures and I needed to put my feet in the ocean. BAM! Booked session! We drove down to Galveston, a favorite place we share, and found a quiet little beach to let our hair loose. We had such a good time and that fun shows through in her photos, which makes me fabulously happy! We even managed to slip in a quick mermaid pose at the end…to satisfy our yoga love! AND to top it all off, this session features one of my most favorite portraits of all time!!!

This is it! One of my favorite portraits ever! She’s totally winning this day!
