What better way to celebrate a 50th anniversary than to corral the entire family for a summer beach vacation?! Marsha and Bill gathered with their children and grandchildren at a beautiful beachfront rental home in Crystal Beach, on Bolivar Peninsula, for a long relaxing weekend.

Since they were all going to be together and celebrating such a big and special milestone, their kids wanted to surprise them with a family session to remember the trip by. It can be difficult to gather multiple families together for photos, so doing it on a vacation is a really great way to make sure it happens. You’re already together AND who doesn’t love having amazing photos from a vacation destination?!

We wandered down to the beach in front of their rental and had the most gorgeous lighting. The dunes made for a great backdrop for the first half of our session. Once the sun sank behind the houses we moved out to the water to capture the beautiful watercolor sky over the ocean.
